Candle Care
A few small habits for a cleaner, longer and more beautiful burn.
Trim the wick
Trim your wick to about 5mm before every burn. This keeps the flame steady, prevents soot and helps the candle last longer.
The first burn matters
On the first light, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel — usually 1–2 hours. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn every time.
Burn safely
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children, pets, draughts and anything flammable.
- Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Stop burning when 1cm of wax remains.
Store well
Keep your candle away from direct sunlight to preserve its colour and fragrance. Replace the lid between burns to protect the scent.
